EXPERIENCED CARPENTER

POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Carpenter is assigned by the Operations Department on a day to day basis to work towards completing projects assigned and ran by the Project Manager. The Lead Carpenter will supervise any other Customer Service Technicians assigned to the job and will have the responsibility and authority to direct along with coordinate all activities on the job so all goals for that day are achieved. It is the Lead Carpenters responsibility to communicate directly with the Project Manager for proper scope of work needed for the project.

ESTIMATOR

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for writing and delivering timely estimates able to deliver projects meeting Restoration Relief’s project requirements for budget and quality. This position will be assigned to participate in project teams consisting of a Project Coordinator (PC), Business Development Account Manager, and Technicians, led by a Project Manager (PM).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will be assigned to project teams and estimate projects within a general geographic area as well as maintain certain relationships at the discretion of the Estimating Manager (EM).
- The Estimator will perform the following functions:
- Will set the initial site meeting or will keep the appointment set by the PC.
- Be able to explain and sign Emergency Services Contract Agreement and Authorization to proceed with client – close the sale.
- Will communicate with the client the job process and reinforce the PM’s role with the client
- Perform a detailed scope of work for the project based on visual inspection or interviews, notes, and pictures provided by others.
- Write the estimate in Xactimate with in Restoration Relief timetable
- Submit Estimate to PM for review and approval.
- Coordinate with the PC for submittal to the Client and Adjuster. May be required to submit directly to adjuster as determined by PC and EM.
- Respond to Adjuster and PM requests for information regarding scope details and clarification.
- If approved by PM, make revisions / changes to estimates as required by negotiations and changes in scope of work
- Will provide status updates for all assigned estimates to the PC or make entries into Proven Jobs and online tracking systems, as determined by the EM.
- Will Communicate with:
- Any public authority having jurisdiction of the project
- Client
- Adjuster
- The Restoration Relief Business Development Account Manager associated with the project.
- Secondary to estimating, the Estimator will also be called upon to perform functions associated with Business Development:
- Will develop solid professional relationships with potential clients and referral sources, specifically will be assigned to specific adjusters at the discretion of the EM, and will be responsible to document and distribute those adjusters preferences to others at Restoration Relief

POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Mitigation Technician is assigned by the Operations Department on a day to day basis. The Lead will supervise any other Customer Service Technician assigned to the project. They will have the responsibility and authority to direct along with coordinate all activities on the job site to meet all goals established for that day. Every job is unique and could consist of any of the following: water damage, fire damage, sewer damage, mold damage, or storm damage. The ability to deliver strong leadership in all aspects of the mitigation project is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning and delivering projects that meet Restoration Relief requirements for schedule, budget, and quality. The PM will be assigned to lead a project team consisting of a Project Coordinator (PC), Estimator, and others as required by the project. On a project by project basis, this position will be responsible to drive the project to successful completion. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining a clear understanding of the funding status for the project.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- For projects assigned, the PM will lead a project team consisting of:
- Project Coordinator (PC)
- Estimator
- Lead CST / Restoration Superintendent (RS) is assigned
- Tradespersons
- Suppliers
- For projects assigned, the PM will coordinate with:

- The Restoration Relief Business Developer (BD) associated with the project

- Will be the primary contact to the client and the adjustor. This does not mean the only contact, but, as far as decisions are concerned, will be the primary contact.
